On June 30, 2010, Doris L. "Doddie" Ellis, age 83, beloved wife of 32 years to the late Benjamin L. Ellis.
Doris is survived by her sister, Margaret E. Heilman of Sewickley; many nieces and nephews and many good friends.
Doris was preceded in death by her sisters, Jean G. Meineke, Irene E. Thoerner, and Harriet J. M. Sarver.
Friends received Friday 2-4 & 7-9 pm and Saturday 11:30 am until time of service at 12:30 at Simons Funeral Home, Inc., 7720 Perry Highway.
Doris was a lifelong member of Little Hill United Methodist Church, active in West View Ladies Auxiliary VFW #2754, Member of Economy Boro Senior Citizens, Member of Valley Veterans, Glenfield, PA, Little Hill Keenagers and Franklin Park AARP.
